Michelangelo NNV 3D ist ein einzigartiger Print Roboter speziell für den Grossformat-Direktdruck auf Fahrzeugkarosserien. Sein Oberflächen-Trackingsystem ermöglicht den Druck auch auf unzählige weitere flache oder gewölbte Objekte und Materialien: Glas, Kacheln, Kunststoff, Stoffe, Metall, Holz, Mauern...

Michelangelo is an unique state of the art full color Robot printing machine specially designed for  printing large format graphics directly on Auto Mobile applications. This system has a semi automatic curved surface tracing system which prints on any uneven 3D surface of any size on any substrates like glass, tiles, plastics, fabric, metals , wood, carpets, walls and countless other applications.

System - Components - Workflow

Michelangelo technical system overview

1. The editing station computer (To make/edit the print design using Adobe Photoshop)
2. Printing station computer (Printer control)
3. Controller unit (process the printing and control the machine mechanism)
4. Air compressor (Supply clean air pressure to the machine - 7 Bar - 120 PSI)
5. Air Dryer
6. Air Filers (To filter the moist and dust in the air)



Michelangelo workflow                              

1. Image can be scanned or taken by digital Camera (TIFF Format) by using Adobe Photoshop
2. Convert the image to Michelangelo print format
3. Transfer the image to printing station computer  
4. Enter the body data using the printing software (semi automatic body data acquisition)
5. Load the printing image
6. Fill the ink tank with all (CMYK inks)
7. Start the machine (Controller unit)
8. Set print conditions (Pitch, color settings)
9. Print the Image
